About

Hello, I’m Julie Burrows. I’ve been delivering growth on businesses for over twenty years. I’ve worked with a multitude of clients of all sizes on everything from strategic planning, new products and branding. I have a special passion for consumer insights , interactivity and the potential of the internet to inspire, build loyalty and improve the generosity of brands. I look for nowcasions™ for brands that can make them totally relevant in new situations.

I honed my skills in consumer packaged goods marketing and business management at The Pillsbury company for 16 years, ultimately running the $1Billion Pillsbury Refrigerated Baked Goods Division and being responsible for the Pillsbury Doughboy! In 2004, I joined an internet media company – Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc. – because somehow I knew you had to learn about interactivity to be a relevant marketer in the 2000s. Boy was that dead-on!

I currently consult for clients on new products, business growth plans and interactivity and insights. I also am launching my own healthy snack food product.

My interests include social networks, golf, connecting with youth in a very real way. I’m a reformed Republican challenging my beliefs about social justice. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband Jeff and two amazing kids, Casey and Peter.
